Candidate Ratings is a non-profit, non-partisan, organization established to provide citizens with factual non-political background information on the administrative and problem solving capabilities of members of Congress, and Congressional candidates Our ratings are based on candidate public records, candidate questionnaires, and third party research. Our evaluation process focuses on a candidate's policy formulation and decision making skills and experience administering business, institutional or governmental organizations. For incumbent candidates with prior governmental experience ratings are also based on prior history of their effectiveness in working with members of both political parties to pass effective, solution focused legislation.
Candidate Ratings is forming an LLC, but is not currently seeking financial contributions. We are interested in working with other groups and individuals with similar objectives to improve the quality of Congress and national policy development.
